My most recent love has been velvet. I think velvet suits this autumn-winter that we've been having here in Melbourne. I found these Dotti velvet leggings that are a must have, and when I told my mummy about my new found love she said that she has 2 velvet jackets. So happy! Can't wait to find outfits to pair with these.

I took this after I finished altering this simple black dress I got from an op shop. It's a really thin material that's silky and it has a peter pan collar. But it had these weird sleeves which I didn't really like so I cut them off. You can't see the dress to well in the picture but I took this using a self-timer on my camera and really liked the light and how it turned out.

Wow these shorts are to die for. I've just found http://www.four-tea.com/ and I love all of their shorts! I think they're hand made too. Now that's awesome.

I reaaaally want to buy this 'Vivienne Shirt Dress' from Cotton On. It's only $20?! And it can dressed up or down. I need a simple base for my wardrobe and this would fit it perfectly. Since it can only be bought online since it's not in stores, I'm going to have to wait till it's back in stock :(
